Only recently Facebook introduced its new ad performance measurement solutions for advertisers.

And advertisers are thrilled, as they should be!

Through a recent collaboration with the data measurement firm Nielsen, Facebook launched their new measurement solutions which will enable advertisers to compare ad performances and review the impact of their ad campaigns on their platform and TV.

For those who don’t know, Nielsen offers expertise in TV measurement with its database of television programming to poll for TV ad exposure, the results of which are delivered independently by the company.

The Facebook ad performance measurement solutions will help advertisers understand who they are reaching out to with their ads and how they can optimize it for better impact. This will enable advertisers to interpret their cross-platform results.

Facebook ad performance measurement solutions are said to enable you (advertisers) to better understand your audience by:

  • Knowing who you are reaching out to and if your ad is relevant to them
  • Learning the impact of various ad versions and see which produced better results
  • Finding out how effectively you are reaching out to consumers in your ad budget
  • Measuring your reach across channels, publishers and devices

The products being offered under Facebook ad performance measurement solutions include Ads Reporting, Split Testing and Audience Insights. The measurement solutions are currently available for advertisers in US and UK while it is expected to be available in Australia by the end of this year. According to news, next in Facebook’s pipeline is the Facebook cross-platform brand lift solution which is expected to be released in 2018 for advertisers.
